Chassis Straightening at Spray Technology SA
After a heavy impact a vehicle can look straight but sit out of line underneath, which affects tyre wear, handling and safety in a future collision. We mount the vehicle on a chassis bench and measure key points against the manufacturer's data before any pulling starts.
The structure is pulled back step by step and re-measured, and you get the before-and-after measurements on file. That record also helps when an insurer asks how a structural repair was done.
Our workshop is at 5 Hartford Road, Fillan Park, serving Pietermaritzburg and the KZN Midlands. Areas we serve.

Questions
Chassis Straightening: common questions
How do I know if my chassis is bent?
Signs include uneven tyre wear, the car pulling to one side, uneven panel gaps and doors that do not close properly after an accident. A measurement on the bench confirms it.
Is a straightened chassis safe?
When it is pulled and measured back to the manufacturer's dimensions, yes. We keep the measurement report as proof.
